The approach
We believe behaviour is best understood in context. Effective behaviour support is not about controlling people or forcing compliance, it is about understanding needs, building skills, reducing distress, and improving quality of life.
About the creator
Making Behaviour Make Sense was created by an Australian behaviour support practitioner with qualifications in psychology and experience across disability services, child protection, and family support work.
The resources are designed to translate complex behavioural principles into simple, practical tools that families and support workers can use in everyday situations. The focus is on clear, usable strategies that support understanding, communication, and consistency in real-world settings.
Stay in the loop.
